In 10 years, we have:

• Provided 86,200encounters to over 7,600 kids
• Provided $2,200,000in dental care
• Provided $5,600,000in medical care and social services
• Become a model nationally for school based dental clinics

New HEALS locations:

• West Huntsville Elementary now at Morris Elementary School
• Terry Heights Elementary now at University Place Elementary School
• In response to Lincoln and Martin Luther's consolidation, the remaining medical clinic is at Martin Luther King Elementary, as well as the dentalc clinic
• Plans for a new clinic coming Fall 2011--Madison Crossroads Elementary
• Huntsville City School system

HEALS Insurance Outreach Services:

• Children do not have to be eligible for HEALS services for parents to get assistance with insurance needs.
• HEALS’ Social Services Providers work with parents of ANY child in Madison County to help that child obtain insurance coverage.
• HEALS staff will assist parents/guardians with the appropriate application and will help obtain the required paperwork for Medicaid, AllKids and Alabama Caring Foundation.
• Parents can call any of the HEALS Clinics for information and help
