CELEBRATING 10 YEARS OF SERVICE!

In 10 years, we have:

  • Provided 86,200encounters to over 7,600 kids
  • Provided $2,200,000in dental care
  • Provided $5,600,000in medical care and social services
  • Become a model nationally for school based dental clinics

New HEALS locations:

  • West Huntsville Elementary now at Morris Elementary School
  • Terry Heights Elementary now at University Place Elementary School
  • The remaining health clinics include Martin Luther King Elementary, and Lincoln Elementary (also the site of the HEALS Dental Clinic)
  • The HEALS clinics are located at four elementary schools in the Huntsville City School system.

HEALS Insurance Outreach Services:

  • Children do not have to be eligible for HEALS services for parents to get assistance with insurance needs.
  • HEALS’ Social Services Providers work with parents of ANY child in Madison County to help that child obtain insurance coverage.
  • HEALS staff will assist parents/guardians with the appropriate application and will help obtain the required paperwork for Medicaid, AllKids and Alabama Caring Foundation.
  • Parents can call any of the HEALS Clinics for information and help
