How can your monthly donations help HEALS?

$10 provides…

  • a treatment kit for a child with lice, which reduces absenteeism
  • 3 thermometers for parents to take home
  • snack bars for children that come to school hungry with a “tummy ache”

$20 provides…

  • a care package for a child visiting for a physical, which includes a new pair of shoes, a book, one toothbrush, and toothpaste
  • a box of 100 syringes for immunizations that help protect the child from many common infections
  • 10 large family-size tubes of toothpaste to help prevent tooth decay

$50 provides…

  • 2 new pairs of athletic shoes for children as part of the “Heels for HEALS” program encouraging routine well-child check ups
  • one dental cleaning for a child
  • Transportation back and forth from the dental clinic to school for 75 HEALS’ patients 

$100 provides…

  • a nebulizer for a child without insurance
  • 3 x-rays for detecting cavities
  • a chest x-ray or Complete Blood Count blood work for children who need it but do not have insurance

$200 provides…

  • an inhaler for one month for an asthmatic child without insurance
  • 8 fluoride treatments or general oral exams
  • 10 packages of children’s allergy and sinus medicine 

$300 provides…

  • three basic dental fillings for children
  • 75 oral hygiene goody bags that teach and encourage children to keep healthy mouths and gums
  • 10 first-aid medical kits for children to take home

As a Friend of HEALS, your monthly support:

  • Will help provide access to free school-based medical and dental care for eligible children in Madison County.

  • Will go directly toward our mission to serve those who could not otherwise afford health care.

  • Will make an immediate difference in the lives of many children and their families.

Other ways you can help HEALS:

HEELS for HEALS

In addition to providing medical and dental care, HEALS also provides food, clothing, and SHOES for area children. Simply purchase a pair (or two or three) of NEW shoes suitable for boys or girls ages 3-18 years and drop them off at any of our clinic locations or the HEALS administrative office.
